Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training

Since 2023, I have been delivering Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) to a variety of professionals including post-secondary faculty, support staff and security personnel. Participants are guided in developing the confidence and practical skills needed to recognize, respond to, and support individuals experiencing thoughts of suicide. My approach to training is collaborative, engaging, and grounded in creating a safe learning environment where participants can build both knowledge and confidence.

ASIST is a comprehensive two-day, evidence-informed workshop designed to build suicide intervention knowledge, skills, and confidence. We provide private, on-site training for organizations and can accommodate groups of up to 30 participants. Training fees start at approximately $250 per participant, with pricing varying based on your organization's needs and location.
